which is just BAD
still whats over is over

after that we had geog
mrs mohd stormed in and said she was pissed off by 111
heh and so we were super guai cos we were scared she would blow up
at least that was i thought
yes then she went out of the class to shout at ppl outside to be quiet 3 times
whew lucky our class didnt get ticked off
and i think we made her mood better (:
i think our class is just so damn PRO

like teachers like to have people to come and sit in with our lessons
the music teacher says we have the most talent among the non-MEP classes
the dance teacher says we have a lot of potential
how much more proof do you want
that 109 is just hardcore

as in not depressing kind of depressing, just that you feel that you are helpless

yes and it showed pictures of how people were suffering in other countries
and people here dont even appreciate what they have
even waste food

so yes basically ICCS stands for that
and there was ICCS today

set reached east coast park then we started picking rubbish
gloves were given out
but since i am so smart i am the photographer
pronounced fo-tog-gra-fer
yes must prepare for oral right
which means i dont have to pick rubbish
heh and i dont have to wash the disgusting gloves

cleaning up was disgusting
yes and i can imagine all the harm it is doing to the environment
glad we are actually doing something to make the situation better
so basically the beach looked like this

disgusting right?
imagine all that stuff going into the stomach of poor animals living in the sea
well basically all these rubbish were washed up from the sea

and so the EXCO stepped on the beach first cos the rest of the class was cleaning the BBQ pit
and i tried to pick up rubbish with Kim’s glove
then there were loads of flies below the seaweed and stuff
bleh
so then we found plenty of interesting stuff while the rest of the class lagged behind
like soya sauce bottles
people were most probably having a FEAST near the beach
since we found 4 soya sauce and other bottles
heh
and a lot of styrofoam
A LOT
counted with xyn yee on the bus
totalled to a whopping 750 pieces
not including those that were not count
couldnt be bothered to count after the first few pieces

strolled to the end of the beach with jiayi
while picking up a lot of rubbish
sigh i wonder how many people are actually dumping rubbish into the sea
whether they couldnt find a place to dump their stuff
or it just accidentally dropped in
but anyway
please do NOT dump any rubbish into the sea

went to sit on the breakwater though Aofei was screaming at us for being up there
cos we are not allowed see
but the view up there was superb
and we took a rest up there

went back and lao shi went to buy food
TSKTSK
mrs sia supplied us with sweets she bought from korea
heh
since i didnt bring food i got from other ppl
so after the break we slacked
it was 9.30
bah

mr KT and mr lim came by
yeah then they left their bikes at our bbq pit while they went to look at 108
so we wrapped mr KT’s bike with garbage bags
and maria carried it to where our trash is
and it almost looked like a piece of trash!

you know the events that are happening RIGHT NOW in the world are
so terrifying

what we are living in is like a PARADISE compared to living conditions of many other people in the world
people in this world are dying of starvation
water deprivation
not enough clean water
no enough $$$
the list goes on forever

and here we are grumbling about homework
like how important is HOMEWORK compared to
problems of even SURVIVING
children like us have to go and pick rubbish off the river
for food and money for their family

yeah learning geog has its pros and cons
like learning about the effect we are having in the world
global warming that is causing the world to die
all the plants
and animals
mother nature is DYING

and there is nothing that an individual like me can do
or even singapore can do
or even the world can do
like what mrs mohd said
the world cannot do anything while we watch the icebergs melt away
all the freshwater going into the sea
all the organisms that survive with the ice also slowly die
the polar bears drowning
WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO??

and to think we did all this
HUMANS did all this
HUMANS want to improve, for themselves
but in the end they harm the environment
and in the end it all comes back to us

the world can survive jolly well without us humans
but we humans cannot survive with the world
because we are the CREATORS
and we have the power to create something to actually salvage the situation now
we are the only species in the world to have the power to change all this

no wonder mrs mohd is so into energy conservation
because she knows what is happening to our world
people are living in slums
they drink from what they dump their rubbish in

conserve energy
start from a little step
and we CAN make a difference

today the earth shook
